The on-road trial marks the first major tech showcase since VOYAH deepened its strategic partnership with Huawei. The footage shows the car precisely detecting lane markings, maintaining safe distances to virtual obstacles, and performing core assisted-driving maneuvers such as low-speed following and steering adjustments — with no obvious hiccups.
VOYAH Taishan went on sale on Nov. 18, 2025, with deliveries starting Dec. 4. The lineup comprises four trims: Max priced at CNY 379,900, Max+ at CNY 409,900, Ultra at CNY 459,900, and the Black Warrior Edition at CNY 509,900. The Black Warrior, under the plan at the time, was to be released in limited numbers in the first quarter of 2026.
Measured at 5,230×2,025×1,817 mm with a 3,120 mm wheelbase, the Taishan adopts a "Harmony of Heaven and Earth" aesthetic with landscape-inspired cues. It features a vertical waterfall chrome grille, DLP intelligent headlights and semi-flush door handles, while the body uses a mix of ultra-high-strength steel and aluminum alloy. The cabin draws on Chinese landscape motifs and traditional architecture. Buyers can choose from eight exterior colors — including Chixia Purple, Yuanshan Blue, Champagne Gold, Xuanying Black and Duruo White — along with three interior themes: Xuan Red, Yunmi and Warm Brown.
Inside, the Taishan offers 2,707 mm of effective passenger space; it features AI Yunshu seats with 66 sensors for real-time sensing and supports a 26-point, master-level massage. There's also a 21.4-inch roof-mounted screen with voice-controlled opening and closing. In addition, the car offers a 55-inch AR-HUD, a 32-speaker theater-grade audio system, a 13-liter smart cooler/warmer and power sunshades; it also equips HUAWEI XPIXEL intelligent projection headlights and smart, sensor-activated power doors.
For intelligent driving, the Taishan uses Huawei's Qiankun ADS 4 system. The Ultra carries 34 sensors, including four lidars, and runs on a computing platform delivering over 1,000 TOPS — making it one of only two models worldwide to adopt Huawei's latest ADS 4 top-end quad-lidar setup. The vehicle also features a HarmonyOS 5.0 cockpit and is the first to integrate the Harmony Voice AI large model, enabling multi-turn Q&A and complex voice-command control.
Power comes from a plug-in hybrid system pairing a 1.5T engine with dual motors front and rear. CLTC pure-electric range is 350 km, with combined range exceeding 1,400 km. The vehicle supports an 800V architecture and 5C ultra-fast charging; a 12-minute charge can raise the battery from 20% to 80%.
