Shanghai, May 20 (Gasgoo.com) Volkswagen AG announced on Monday that its sales in China in April soared 21% from a year earlier to 121,300 vehicles.
"Apart from Germany and a positive trend in China there are still no signs of a market rebound, " Volkswagen Sales Chief Detlef Wittig said in a statement.
Globally Volkswagen's vehicle sales in April fall 4.7% to 541,600 units, with the VW passenger car brand accounting for 339,500 vehicles.
