Gasgoo Munich-Joyson Electronics is set to officially debut its "Lingxi" series of dexterous hands during the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC 2026), according to Gasgoo. Beyond that, the company plans to showcase a range of innovative embodied intelligence solutions, including its third-generation AI head assembly, embodied intelligence brains, solid-liquid hybrid energy systems, and industrial robot applications.
In 2025, Joyson Electronics repositioned itself as a "Tier 1 supplier for both automotive and robotics." To achieve this, it established specialized subsidiaries like Joyson Embodied Intelligence and Joyson Lingxi Intelligence, made a strategic investment in Linjidian, and released component solutions such as large and small brain controllers, energy management systems, and head assemblies—effectively building a comprehensive matrix of key components for emerging intelligent agents.

On the robot head assembly front, Joyson Electronics released a new generation in May, offering three key upgrades over the previous model: more realistic, human-like movement dimensions; new head projection capabilities for human-machine interaction; and a more futuristic, sci-fi aesthetic design.
Specifically, the new head assembly adopts a sleek "water droplet and anthropomorphic contour" shape, using gentle curves to mimic human head proportions. The "semi-enclosed mask" highlights the technological focus of the core sensing area while resembling the natural segmentation of the human face. Paired with ear-integrated breathing lights, this gives the robot a visual medium for "dynamic emotional expression."
Furthermore, Joyson Electronics has endowed the robot head with three degrees of freedom, enabling more flexible, human-like movement. This makes the robot feel more like a "real person" during interactions. Building on the previous generation's voice and curved facial display, it adds a head projection device, diversifying the robot's modes of "output."

Turning to energy system solutions, Joyson Electronics is actively extending its automotive power system expertise to the humanoid robotics sector. In 2025, it successively launched embedded and backpack-mounted battery packs, along with an integrated chest assembly solution that combines "large and small brain (controller) fusion + power supply + thermal management."
Building on that foundation, Joyson Electronics announced in May a joint venture with Enpower Battery—Ningbo Joyen New Energy Co.—focused on solid-state batteries for emerging intelligent agents. The goal is to pioneer solid-state battery technology for embodied intelligence and create an integrated energy system solution comprising "battery cells + BMS + data services," meeting the higher demands of embodied robots for range, safety, and lightweight design.
On the commercialization front, Joyson Electronics has already established partnerships and supply agreements with several renowned domestic and international robotics companies in the field of embodied intelligence, including Zhiyuan Robotics, Galaxy General, and RIVR.
