WAIC 2026 | MagicLab Partners with AliExpress, Firing the "First Shot" in Embodied Intelligence's Global Expansion

Edited by Betty From Gasgoo

Gasgoo Munich- On the opening day of WAIC 2026, embodied intelligence standout MagicLab and AliExpress unveiled an exclusive strategic partnership, officially inducting the robotics firm into the e-commerce giant's "Brand+" super brand export program. This marks MagicLab's first deal with a cross-border retail platform—and signals a pivotal shift for Chinese embodied intelligence, moving beyond mere technology showcases toward large-scale global expansion.

MagicLab also dropped a trio of global products on the same day: the full-size bipedal humanoid X1, the light industrial dog T1, and the wheeled humanoid D1, alongside a debut of nine real-world applications. While its latest Magic-Mix model boasts end-to-end integration of perception, decision-making, and execution, the real headline is the commercial route it's charting overseas via AliExpress.

Under the agreement, AliExpress will provide full-chain support—including brand visibility boosts, priority search placement, exclusive promotional events, and an overseas communication matrix. Leveraging its global e-commerce network and managed fulfillment model, the platform aims to solve the complex cross-border logistics challenges facing high-value robotics. Moving forward, all of MagicLab's consumer-grade products will debut on AliExpress, with priority stock allocated for overseas launches, while AliExpress retains exclusive rights to brand promotional resources.

"We've been committed to globalization from day one," a MagicLab representative said at the event. The company plans to build a comprehensive ecosystem spanning product definition, channels, delivery, and localized operations tailored to global users. Its official store is already live, with the first batch of MagicDog Pro quadruped robots now available for immediate delivery in Japan, South Korea, and the U.S.

Dong Jie, head of AliExpress's embodied robotics category, noted that the partnership will target specific pain points for overseas users—ranging from home security and industrial inspection to emotional companionship. By combining the platform's operational experience across multiple markets with MagicLab's hardware prowess, the two aim to drive a collective push for China's AI hardware supply chain to expand globally.

Since launching in September 2025, "Brand+" has onboarded numerous leading brands, spanning cleaning robots to companion bots. With the addition of humanoids and quadrupeds, AliExpress's AI hardware portfolio is increasingly complete. The significance of this deal extends beyond a single brand's export; it serves as a turning point for embodied intelligence as it transitions from a "lab favorite" to a "global daily companion." As Chinese robotics integrate deeply with cross-border channels, the next round of industry competition is just getting underway.
