Gasgoo Munich- Zhongke Tianhang (Jiangsu) Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. signed a strategic partnership with Humanoid Robot (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. The latter operates the National Local Joint Humanoid Robot Innovation Center ("National Center"), reported Gasgoo.
The partners will collaborate on real-world training, algorithm iteration, and demonstration deployments for humanoid robots in high-end manufacturing. They aim to build the Yangtze River Delta’s first industrial-grade embodied intelligence training ground. This facility will cover the entire workflow from material handling to precision assembly and patrol.

Endorsed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Shanghai government, the National Center is a state-level platform. It tackles technical challenges and builds the humanoid robot ecosystem. Zhongke Tianhang brings years of intelligent manufacturing experience and access to production lines. The partnership bridges this "national team" platform with physical manufacturing realities. Zhongke Tianhang will open its lines for real-world data collection and model evaluation. This move for on-site drills remains rare in China.
The biggest hurdle in moving humanoid robots from labs to factories is not algorithms. It is the lack of complex industrial environments for generalization training. This new training ground targets that gap. It establishes a standardized platform for data governance and capability verification. The companies will also collaborate on intelligent line adaptation and human-machine optimization. They aim to help Zhongke Tianhang build an in-house embodied intelligence team through joint R&D.
Strategically, the partnership aligns with the national "15th Five-Year Plan" focus on real-world robot training. It marks the National Center's shift from "technology exporter" to "ecosystem enabler." If successful, the project will deliver replicable smart upgrade solutions for sectors like precision casting. It paves the way for humanoid robots to evolve from mobility and perception to performing actual, delicate tasks. The integration of high-end manufacturing and embodied intelligence in the Yangtze River Delta is accelerating.
