Gasgoo Munich- Autonomous driving firm WeRide on March 23 released its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2025, offering a snapshot of accelerating commercialization across its global operations.

The company reported a breakout year, with total revenue reaching 690 million yuan, up 90% year-on-year and marking a record high. Fourth-quarter revenue climbed even faster, surging 123% from a year earlier to 314 million yuan—the strongest quarterly performance since the company's founding—reflecting rapid progress in translating its technology into commercial returns.
WeRide's core Robotaxi segment emerged as the primary growth engine. Annual revenue from the business more than tripled to 150 million yuan, while fourth-quarter revenue hit a new peak of 50.6 million yuan, which leapt 66.4% from the previous year. User adoption in China expanded sharply, with registered Robotaxi users increasing more than ninefold year-on-year in a single quarter, underscoring surging demand for autonomous mobility services.
Improved operational efficiency and tighter cost controls supported a stronger financial profile. Gross margin rose to 30% for the year, with gross profit increasing 86.8% year on year to 210 million yuan. Net losses narrowed significantly, declining by more than a third compared with the previous year, while the company maintained a solid capital base of 7.1 billion yuan.
WeRide's autonomous driving solutions are now deployed across 12 countries and more than 40 cities, giving it one of the broadest international footprints in the sector. Its Robotaxi fleet has reached 1,125 vehicles globally. Looking ahead, the company plans to expand that number to 2,600 units by the end of 2026 and scale to tens of thousands by 2030, reinforcing its ambitions to build a dominant position in large-scale autonomous mobility services worldwide.
