World's fastest express train makes debut in China

The world's fastest express train made its debut in China on Wednesday. It runs at a speed of over 380 kilometers per hour. China now also boasts the world's longest express railway which runs for 1,000 kilometers.

With an investment of more than 110 billion yuan ($16.1 billion), the expressway stretches between Wuhan and Guangzhou crossing three central and southern Chinese provinces. It can complete the 1,000 kilometer trip in three hours.

And an advanced brake system also ensures safety. It can also automatically receive notice of signal failures within a range of 32-kilometers. It is also the first self-developed long express railway in China.
