Gasgoo Munich-Xense Robotics and ArcheBase have officially signed a strategic partnership agreement. The two companies will combine their technical strengths to focus on tactile and multimodal data collection, processing, and application within real-world robotics tasks. They aim to correlate tactile information with task actions, scene states, and execution results—capabilities that will ultimately serve robot training, evaluation, and task development.

Specifically, Xense will provide multimodal tactile perception and data acquisition capabilities, while ArcheBase will contribute data infrastructure tailored for physical AI. Together, they will explore integrating contact information into task data systems, linking tactile feedback with actions and outcomes to enhance robot training, evaluation, and development.
On the technology front, Xense has established a system covering high-precision visuo-tactile sensors, tactile simulation, the XTac UMI data acquisition device, and tactile model research. Its XTac UMI device unifies visual, tactile, pose, and action information into a single collection pipeline.
ArcheBase, meanwhile, is dedicated to building data infrastructure for physical AI. It transforms real-world robot task processes into operational data assets, providing foundational capabilities for task retrieval, failure analysis, quality inspection, and version tracing.
Its data architecture does more than simply record what a robot has accomplished; it further organizes task phases, contact events, failure causes, and recovery paths. This approach ensures data better serves model training, task evaluation, and application development.
