Meanwhile, Xiaomi founder Lei Jun posted: "This is the Dream Car that carries all our aspirations. Refined for another two years on the foundation of the first-generation SU7, it has seen massive improvements in safety, handling, intelligent experience, and luxury texture. Many friends expect the SU7 to become a legendary model with sustained success. My answer is: the next-generation SU7 is ready."
Currently, the next-generation Xiaomi SU7 opened pre-orders in early January 2026, with a pre-sale price range of 229,900 to 309,900 yuan.
Based on disclosed product information, the new model features multiple upgrades in exterior, interior, intelligent driving, and safety. On the exterior, the front grille styling has been optimized, and the paint color now adds a Capri Blue option to the existing Gulf Blue. The wheels are upgraded to a new 20-inch style, with tire specifications adjusted to 245mm at the front and 265mm at the rear; the rear tire tread has been widened to enhance grip. Regarding the braking system, the entire line comes standard with front four-piston fixed calipers, while the Max version is equipped with Brembo calipers, perforated brake discs, and low-metallic brake pads.
Inside, the new SU7 adds a Midnight Black color option to the existing Obsidian Black interior. The steering wheel shape has been adjusted, and stitching details on the auxiliary dashboard, door panels, and seats have been simultaneously optimized. The area of soft-touch interior surfaces has been expanded, featuring an immersive three-layer ambient lighting system. The physical buttons in the central tunnel area have also been updated.
In terms of configuration, the next-generation SU7 has received a systematic upgrade. For safety, the entire series is equipped with 2,200 MPa strength steel embedded anti-roll bars and four-door anti-collision beams, upgraded to nine airbags (adding rear side airbags). The chassis is fitted with 1,500 MPa protective crossbeams and a high-strength protective coating, which the company claims improves scratch and tear resistance by 10 times compared to the basic design. Addressing user concerns about door handle design, the new model comes standard with triple-redundant door handles, supporting physical mechanical opening from both inside and outside the vehicle.
In terms of power and range, the next-generation SU7 is equipped with a V6s Plus motor, with the Standard version outputting 320 horsepower and the Max version reaching 690 horsepower. The entire line adopts a silicon carbide high-voltage platform; the Standard and Pro versions use a 752V architecture, while the Max version uses 897V. Regarding range performance, the Standard version offers a CLTC range of 720 km, while the Pro version reaches 902 km. For intelligent driving hardware, the new model comes standard with LiDAR and 4D millimeter-wave radar across the lineup.
