Xiaomi EV noted that injury risks in collision accidents vary by body type. Therefore, critical designs like airbag deployment logic must be calibrated for diverse physical characteristics. Building on standard development using 50th percentile male dummies—standing roughly 177 cm tall—the new Xiaomi SU7 introduces small-sized female dummies for specialized safety verification. This covers "all driving conditions and all seating positions," aiming to deliver more comprehensive protection for users of different statures.

Structurally, these female dummies better approximate real female physiology. Their sensor layouts are arranged according to female skeletal morphology and how force impacts the body. For instance, given that women typically have a smaller pelvis with a greater forward tilt, sensors are concentrated in the hip and pubic symphysis regions. This setup monitors the risk of abdominal organ injury caused by seat belt slippage during a collision, ensuring the test data more accurately reflects the real-world injury risks for female occupants.

The new SU7 covers every core crash test scenario in both the C-NCAP and C-IASI evaluation systems. These include a 56 km/h full frontal impact and a 50 km/h 50% offset car-to-car collision. The tests also cover 64.4 km/h 25% offset impacts on both sides and a 32 km/h 75° side pole collision. During the development and testing of each scenario, Xiaomi placed female dummies in the driver, front passenger, and rear seats. This allowed for the complete collection of collision response data across all positions, comprehensively verifying the vehicle's ability to protect female occupants in every seat.

Furthermore, the entire Xiaomi YU7 lineup will adopt the same rigorous safety standards as the new SU7. Consumers are invited to visit dealerships to view or test drive both the new SU7 and the Xiaomi YU7.
