Gasgoo Munich- Xiaomi Auto kicked off its "Eight Northern Provinces Winter Care" campaign on October 14, rolling out a suite of free services and support policies to safeguard winter driving for owners in northern China.
Running from October 15, 2026, through March 31, 2027, the program spans eight provinces and regions: Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Gansu, and Ningxia.

First, a complimentary winter inspection: Each vehicle is entitled to one in-store checkup covering 15 safety and health items — including lighting, chassis and suspension, tire pressure and tread, brake discs and pads, wipers, and the battery. Technicians will also top off windshield washer fluid and coolant at no charge, based on the vehicle's condition.
Second, free snow chain loans: Owners can reserve chains up to three days in advance via the Xiaomi Auto app. The chains are strictly for snow- or ice-covered roads, with a speed limit of 50 km/h.
Third, free labor for winter tire swaps: Each vehicle gets one complimentary installation and one removal of a full set of winter tires. Labor costs for mounting, dismounting, and four-wheel balancing are fully waived.
Fourth, complimentary tire storage: Swapped-out tires can be stored free of charge through December 31, 2027, at designated service centers — limited to the first 100 customers per location.
Fifth, free roadside assistance: If a vehicle is immobilized by a breakdown, accident, or dead battery, Xiaomi Auto will provide rescue at no charge — with no caps on frequency or mileage.
Sixth, free drop-off after out-of-town repairs: Once repairs are completed at a participating service center, the vehicle will be returned to the owner free of charge.
Xiaomi Auto has already established service centers across the eight regions, with locations in Harbin, Changchun, Shenyang, Dalian, Hohhot, Baotou, Urumqi, Xining, Lanzhou, and Yinchuan. Centers opening during the campaign will also offer the winter care services. Owners can book or inquire via the official Xiaomi Auto hotline or dedicated groups within the app.
Xiaomi Auto emphasized that safety comes first in winter driving, pledging to stand by owners with thoughtful service through the cold season.
