XPENG Delivers 20,011 New Vehicles in January

Gasgoo Munich- XPENG delivered 20,011 new vehicles in January 2026, according to official figures released by the company.

The XPENG X9 maintained strong momentum in January, with deliveries hitting 4,219 units — a 413.9% surge from a year earlier. By Jan., its cumulative sales have now topped 51,897 units, making it the fastest model among domestic startup-branded MPVs to breach the 50,000-unit mark. Also in January, reservations opened for the 2026 XPENG X9 pure electric version. Touted as the "world's longest-range 5C pure electric large seven-seater," it matches the market-leading Super Range Extender version in capability. Customers can reserve one now with a 2,000 yuan deposit that counts for 7,000 yuan off the purchase price until the vehicle launches.

At its global launch event on January 8, XPENG unveiled the 2026 P7+, the G7 Super Range Extender, and updated versions of the G6 and G9. The Ultra and Ultra SE trims across all four models will feature XPENG's second-generation, self-developed VLA — the industry's first physical-world large model capable of initial Level 4 autonomous driving — with an over-the-air update scheduled for the first quarter.

The P7+ launched simultaneously across 36 countries — including China — in January, making its European debut at the Brussels Motor Show. Priced from 43,990 euros, deliveries are set to begin in 25 European markets in April. As XPENG's first true global model, the new P7+ adheres to unified production and safety standards and has already completed trial production at the Graz plant in Austria.

The "XPENG AI Tech Manufacturing Tour" opened to the public in January. Visitors can book via the XPENG app, the XPENG Smart Travel website, or the company's WeChat account to tour the global headquarters and the exploration centers at its Guangzhou and Zhaoqing manufacturing bases.

By the end of 2025, XPENG had expanded into 60 countries and regions, operating more than 1,000 sales outlets — including 380 overseas stores and 721 in China. Its charging network now spans 31 countries and regions, with self-operated charging stations in China surpassing 3,200 and covering over 430 cities.
