Gasgoo Munich- XPENG announced on March 5 that the XPENG G6 Super Range Extender coupe SUV will launch on March 6.

In terms of intelligent features, the new model features a second-generation VLA model with effective computing power reaching 2,250 TOPS. Inside, space utilization reaches 85.6%, with headroom exceeding one meter.
The G6 Super Range Extender is built on a class-exclusive 800V+5C high-voltage platform, delivering a CLTC comprehensive range of 1,704 km. It offers the longest pure electric range in its segment at 430 km. Charging is rapid: the 800V architecture and 5C supercharging technology add 314 kilometers of range in 12 minutes (from 10% to 80% state of charge).
Safety features include blowout stability control at speeds up to 180 km/h and an AEB system capable of bringing the vehicle to a full stop at 130 km/h. On low-friction surfaces such as ice or snow, the AES automatic emergency steering function can intervene. The vehicle also features a Taiji AI chassis with standard DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control), adjusting damping based on road conditions to balance handling and comfort.
Regulatory filings from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's 400th batch, released in October 2025, show the XPENG G6 range-extended version has completed declaration. The filing lists dimensions of 4,771 mm by 1,920 mm by 1,650 mm and a wheelbase of 2,890 mm. It is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery from EVE Energy and a DONGAN AUTO ENGINE 1.5T range extender with a rated power of 110 kW.
The 2026 XPENG G6 pure electric version launched on January 8 with a starting price of 176,800 yuan. The arrival of the Super Range Extender variant completes the automaker's product lineup.
