The plan aims for full market coverage across Latin America by 2028, with Mexico marking the critical entry point. XPENG is introducing the G6 and G9—two of its globally best-selling pure electric models—targeting the region's high-end smart EV sector.
The G6 starts at 819,900 Mexican pesos (approximately 310,000 yuan), while the G9 begins at 1,099,900 pesos (about 420,000 yuan). XPENG has positioned Mexico as a "strategic hub" to serve Central and South America, outlining a three-phase roadmap to deepen its presence in the region. 2026 is set as the breakthrough year, focusing on establishing the brand in core markets like Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia. 2027 will mark a period of full expansion into Chile and Argentina, alongside the introduction of both pure electric and extended-range powertrains. By 2028, the company aims to achieve full coverage across Latin America, solidifying its leadership in smart mobility.
To support its Mexican operations, XPENG has partnered with three leading local dealers to build a sales and service network across Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey. The first batch of stores is set to open on April 6 local time. Additionally, the company has established a 1,000-square-meter parts warehouse at a key logistics hub, stocking over 2,000 types of components. This setup, powered by a smart logistics system, ensures three-day delivery for core regions and five-day service for remote areas.

A representative from XPENG's International Development and Service Center stated that Mexico is a vital strategic market for the company, not just in Latin America but globally. The automaker plans to continuously refine its sales and after-sales networks there. To date, XPENG has established a presence in 60 countries and regions, with its overseas charging network accessible in 31. The entry into Mexico marks another significant milestone in the company's globalization strategy.
