Marketed as the "New King of the Road," the 8X is built on the proprietary Super E-Hybrid Architecture. It features a full-stack 900V high-voltage system, an AI digital chassis, and the next-generation G-ASD driver-assist system. The move marks an entry into the high-performance SUV segment long dominated by traditional luxury brands.
In terms of performance, the dual-motor variant accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, while the tri-motor Yaoying Edition generates 1,030 kW of power and achieves a 2.96-second run. The 2.0T super hybrid engine achieves 46% thermal efficiency, with performance degradation limited to 0.2 seconds even at low battery levels—a common limitation for hybrids. Regarding charging and range, the 70 kWh model supports 6C ultra-fast charging, charging from 20% to 80% in 9 minutes. It offers a CLTC pure-electric range of up to 410 km and a total range of 1,416 km.
The chassis setup includes closed-loop dual-chamber air suspension, dual-valve CCD electromagnetic dampers, and active stabilizer bars. The Haohan AI digital chassis uses a central "Dinghai Smart Hub" to coordinate responses, detecting crosswinds or tire blowouts and adjusting parameters preemptively. It also offers 13 all-terrain driving modes, balancing precise handling with off-road capability.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2026, with test drives available at showrooms nationwide.
