Shanghai, December 5 (Gasgoo.com) Zhengzhou Nissan Automobile Co., Ltd (ZNA) said it will start to sell Nissan's premium Cabstar vans as of next June, the Nanfang Daily newspaper reported today.
The Cabstar vans will be built at Dongfeng Motor Corp's Xiangfan plant in Central China's Wuhan city while Zhengzhou Nissan will only be responsible for the sales network, the report said.
ZNA plans to reach a production and sales volume of over 100,000 in 2010, and over 200,000 in 2012, when the venture will make at least five Nissan and Dongfeng light-duty commercial vehicles.
In addition, the venture is assigned to produce 20% to 25% of Nissan LCV light-duty commercial vehicles, a Japanese vice president at Dongfeng Motor disclosed earlier.
