Gasgoo Munich- Progress on the Zinger project—a manufacturing base for intelligent connected vehicle head-up displays (HUD) and AI holographic voice assistants—is moving ahead of schedule. Construction lead Wu Hui told the China High-Tech Industry Herald that full support from the Xianning High-tech Zone has accelerated the factory renovation beyond initial expectations.
The speed of the project's launch highlights what officials are calling "Xianning efficiency." Initial talks concluded in September 2025, followed by a formal signing in October to settle in the Xianning High-tech Zone. With a total investment nearing 100 million yuan, the project is a key acquisition for the zone, targeting intelligent manufacturing and electronic information sectors. To meet the urgent need for production, the company is leasing an existing factory for an initial transition phase, with plans to construct a new, standardized facility later to further expand capacity.
The construction team moved in on December 31, 2025, to begin renovations. Core tasks, including structural optimization and pipeline installation, are already complete. The first batch of production equipment is slated to arrive for commissioning by the end of March 2026, aiming for a smooth production launch in the first half of the year.
The investor behind the project is Shenzhen Qianhai Zinger Technology Co., Ltd. Founded in 2014, the company is a recognized national high-tech enterprise and a specialized and innovative SME. It specializes in developing and producing optical display products for automotive smart cockpits, having supplied original equipment HUD products to major automakers like VOYAH. The Xianning expansion aims to ease capacity constraints at its Suzhou plant while leveraging the zone's location, supply chain, and policy support to grow its footprint in Central China.
With the global HUD market heating up, the new facility will focus on high-end smart cockpit products, including HUDs and AI holographic voice assistants. Once operational, the base will fill a gap in the local industry and help the Xianning High-tech Zone strengthen its automotive electronic components supply chain, driving the high-quality development of the region's intelligent manufacturing sector.
