Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Though Zotye's models look too much alike with the luxury models, it gained great success and currently it will reportedly change its Z-shaped badge with a shield-like badge, which has a letter "V" in the middle.
At first glance, the new badge may deliver a meaning of premium because the V may abbreviate from the word "VIP". While taking a careful look on it, the V is not connected, looking like being comprised with a Z and a T, which are the first letters of Zotye’s Chinese Pinyin. The new badge looks like a shield, but still colored black and white. It is said that the Zotye Z700 will adopt the new badge first.
With this new premium badge, Zotye's models will deliver a premium and upscale feeling for customers. This move may help Zotye to get rid of the image of a carmaker producing knock-off vehicle products.
