The development signals the company's transition into a new phase in which mass production, airworthiness certification and commercial deployment will move forward in parallel.
The factory launch comes just over two months after GOVY conducted its first demonstration flight in Guangzhou's Haixinsha on March 20, where the AirCab was tested in a dense urban environment to evaluate its suitability for future low-altitude transportation scenarios.
With the latest milestone, the company has expanded beyond prototype validation and moved into both industrial-scale manufacturing preparation and certification advancement.
According to the company, the Guangzhou facility has a planned annual production capacity of 100 flying vehicles. The plant incorporates a full smart-manufacturing system covering the entire production chain, from component sourcing and assembly to final vehicle delivery.
GOVY has already secured AS9100D aerospace quality management certification, covering research and development, manufacturing, testing and product iteration processes.
Meanwhile, the production-spec AirCab has completed multiple key airworthiness-related tests, including full-aircraft static testing, system durability evaluations and electromagnetic compatibility assessments.
Rather than relying solely on traditional aerospace manufacturing practices or automotive production logic, GOVY is attempting to integrate the two systems into a hybrid model.
The company is pairing aviation-grade safety standards anchored by AS9100D certification with the cost control, supply-chain efficiency and precision quality management capabilities commonly associated with the automotive industry.
On the commercialization front, GOVY has entered strategic partnerships with several companies, including Beijing Hengkuan Low-Altitude Technology, Guangzhou Zhidu Group and SKYAI.
The collaborations will focus on passenger transport and tourism-oriented low-altitude mobility applications, while also supporting the construction of demonstration bases for flying car operations.
Guangzhou Zhidu Group and SKYAI have each expressed preliminary purchase intentions for the GOVY AirCab, helping the company establish an early-stage business cycle that links real-world operational scenarios with production planning.
