Advanced Part Quality Process (APQP) is to communicate to suppliers and subcontractors common product quality planning and control plan guidelines developed jointly by Chrysler, Ford and GM. The documents provide guidelines designed to produce a product quality plan which will support the development of a product or service that will satisfy the customers so the suppliers can reduce the complexity of product quality planning and effectively communicate the requirements of customers to subcontractors.
