The big-size bus chassis market in general are mostly controlled by FAW Group, Fujian New Forta and Dongfeng Motor, these big three achieved a total market share of 80.8% in 2005, among which FAW Group was still ranked the No.1 with total sales of 3,244 units (-8.6%), while its market share dropped to 35.7%. Fujian New Forta went up by 0.6% to 2,204 units, characterizing the only one in the above three displaying a consecutive growth. Dongfeng Motor saw a market downsize, shares that dropped by 5%, with a total sale of 1,888 (-16.1%).
