The sales of medium trucks in 2004 amounted to 193,287 units with a 41.73% growth year on year, while the sales in 2005 only climbed by 0.54% to 194,324 units. Dongfeng Motor, FAW Group, Shanxi Auto and Hubei Tri-ring, these three players all suffered a sales decline in varying degrees, especially Dongfeng Motor and Hubei Tri-ring saw their results decline by 18% and 24% respectively. In contrast, JAC, Sichuan Yinhale, Chengdu Wangpai posted growths ranging from +14% to + 35%.
