Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the smart #5 amounted to 1,751 units, up 496 % year on year, the first on January, 2026 auto sales of smart, according to the January sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the smart #1 amounted to 1,048 units, down 30 % year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 1,048 units. January sales of the smart #5 PHEV reached 509 units and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 509 units. (Note: Sales data here includes that of locally-made cars, SUVs and MPVs.)
