Chongqing to hold a motorcycle trade exhibition
The eighth China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition will be held from September 17, 2009 to September 20, 2009 in Chongqing, southeast China, Zou Xiaoping, president of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, said on September 7, 2009.
The exhibition will lure above 70% of the nation's motorcycle vendors, said Zou, adding that both domestic and overseas motorcycle manufacturers will participate in the exhibition, such as Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Ducati Motor Holding S.P.A., Honda Motor Co., Inc., Dachangjiang Group Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Qianjiang Motorcycle Co., Ltd., and China Motor Industries Group Corporation.
The exhibition aims to stimulate the nation's export and drive domestic demand, and it will upgrade the nation's motorcycle brand value and international competitiveness. Meanwhile, the Chinese motorcycle makers can share the latest technologies, operating models, and management methods with their global peers.
Besides, the city will hold various motorcycle activities in the four days like motorcycle races and motorcycle stunt performances.
