Shanghai, April 17 (Gasgoo.com) In the first quarter of this year, Jiangling Motors sold 10,026 light trucks for the first time, including 8,190 units sold domestically and 1,836 exported units, up 36.3% year on year in total sales volume. Jiangling Motors , another joint venture of Ford in China, has held its sales crown in China's top light truck segment for seven straight years by occupying over 60% of the market.

Now as many vehicle models have been sold out, one of the major tasks for the company is to boost the production and ensure the supply of its vehicles, the light truck brand manager of Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMC) told a reporter.

It is reported that Jiangling light truck targets to sell 52,000 units this year, up about 40%. Is this goal excessively high judging from the present market trend? Brand Manager Liu Jingxian said," We are confident we can achieve the goal. "Jiangling is superior to its rivals due to its leading implementation of the nation's latest emission standards for light trucks.

Besides the previously launched Quanshun V348 project, Jiangling Motors has already started a series of projects, code-named N900, N601, N301, N350 and so on, and has invested heavily in them among new product projects announced by JMC these three years.
