The EV manufacturer built 16 supercharging stations on highways in August, making the cumulative number of XPeng-branded highway supercharging stations increase to 27. The company is China's first automaker to operate supercharging service at rest stops on highways.

According to XPeng's update, the company's charging network has also included 81 destination charging stations, 36 of which were deployed last month, as well as 1,596 free charging stations that cover 209 cities across China.
