Great Wall Motor Nov. sales increase MoM
Beijing (Gasgoo)- Great Wall Motor saw a month-on-month increase in its November sales performance, but the number remained low compared to the previous year, with the ORA brand bringing home an increase alone.

The auto giant managed to sell 122,510 vehicles in November, up 9.3% from a month ago, but down 15.65% from the same month in 2020.
For the first eleven months this year, the auto group’s accumulated sales volume summed up to 1,118,624 vehicles, rising 16.34% year on year.
The group’s HAVAL and WEY brands both saw an over 30% plummet in November sales, at 69,170 vehicles and 6,286 vehicles, respectively. However, the cumulative sales volume of the HAVAL brand amounted to 675,621 vehicles by the end of November, still 4.79% higher than a year ago.
Great Wall Motor’s EV brand, ORA, is the only brand of the group that celebrated a win in the month. With 16,136 vehicles sold, ORA saw a leading 39.2% year-on-year surge in its November sales.
The TANK brand also managed a month-on-month increase in sales in November. The “phenomenal” TANK 300, the brand’s only model on the market then, sold 10,108 vehicles, representing a 1.6% difference from the previous month.
The group’s new energy vehicles (NEVs) were sold 16,633 units in the same month. The cumulative annual sales volume of the NEVs totaled 114,599 vehicles by the end of November.
In addition, Great Wall Motor sold 15,006 vehicles overseas in November, resulting in a total of 127,026 vehicles sold for the first eleven months this year.
