Chery Holding sets annual sales target of 1.5 million units for 2022

Beijing (Gasgoo)- December 18th, 2021, marks the 22nd anniversary of the first Chery vehicle rolling off the production line. The automaker finds the day especially significant considering its prominent achievement this year.

From January to November, the group sold 850,000 vehicles cumulatively, representing a 38.3% rise year on year and 4.5% higher than the industry increase average. During the period, the automaker has accumulated RMB130.18 billion in revenue, soaring 42.8% from a year ago.

Moreover, this year, Chery Holding’s export and new energy vehicle performances kept refreshing the group’s record. The group is optimistic that by the end of 2021, it will soon reach 1 million vehicles in annual sales volume, accumulate 10 million users across the world, while its annual revenue surpasses RMB150 billion.

The coming year 2022 is the 25th birthday of Chery Holding. The automaker announced a new target of selling at least 1.5 million vehicles, striving for 2 million vehicles in 2022, with annual revenue of RMB200 billion.

Chery Holding believed that the intelligent, digital, connected reformation is the future of the auto industry.

Phase I of the group’s future intelligent connected plant project has completed construction and is going to start production in 2022.

Chery Holding has also partnered with internet platform COSMOPlat, to build the first large-scale industrial internet platform in the automotive industry.
