Leapmotor Dec. sales soar 368% YoY
Beijing (Gasgoo)- After completing its annual target for new vehicle orders, China’s new energy vehicle startup, Leapmotor, finished the year strong, with its monthly sales record achieving a new high in December 2021.

In December, the auto startup delivered 7,807 vehicles in total, surging 39% from a month ago and 368% year on year. In 2021, the cumulative delivery volume of Leapmotor amounted to 43,121 vehicles.

The company delivered 38,463 units of its mainstay model, the T03 in the year, while its other model, the C11, was delivered 4,021 vehicles. Notably, the C11 has only begun to deliver since October 22nd.
In addition, by the end of November, the company announced that it has received vehicle orders totaling 73,561 units this year, accomplishing its annual target with one month to spare.
Moreover, aside from the three existing models on the market, Leapmotor plans to roll out eight more models by the end of 2025.
Notably, the company has been invested in developing automotive technologies by itself. At the 2021 Auto Guangzhou, Leapmotor showcased a series of technical achievements of the company, including an intelligent electric power system.
By 2026, the company plans to debut its next-generation intelligent electric drive system with AI self-diagnose and lifetime self-estimate abilities based on IoT and AI self-learning algorithms.
