According to the company’s report, XPeng delivered 12,922 vehicles in January, more than doubling from a year ago, surpassing the 10,000th note for five months in a row. With 6,707 vehicles delivered, the startup’s P7 model continued driving the total record, while the P5 and the G3 delivered 4,029 and 2,186 vehicles, respectively. Specifically, the cumulative delivery volume of the P7 reached over 80,000 vehicles, accounting for 53.3% of the company's cumulative sales.
Notably, due to the constantly rising new vehicle orders at hand and the annual growth expectancy, XPeng has conducted technical reformation on its Zhaoqing manufacturing base during the Chinese New Year holiday, from the end of January through the beginning of February. After the reformation, the automaker expects to fast-track its delivery speed for the cumulated at-hand orders from last year.
In the meantime, XPeng is gradually perfecting its charging network layout to ease users’ range anxiety. By January 17th, XPeng had put 813 branded supercharging stations and 166 destination charging stations to work, covering 333 cities and 4 municipalities in China.
