According to ZEEKR’s plans, the auto brand intends to expand its store network to over 300 by the end of 2022.
The subtext is that the months-old brand is working on its production speed and volume. Compared to other Chinese EV startups, by the November 2021, XPeng has 311 stores in the country, whereas NIO has 384 NIO Houses with another hundred coming.
ZEEKR’s ambition is not unwarranted. In the first month of 2022, ZEEKR delivered 3,530 vehicles, resulting in a cumulative delivery volume of 9,537 vehicles since delivery started in late October 2021.
Based on its current performance, ZEEKR has set an annual sales goal to work with, delivering 70,000 vehicles in 2022. Moreover, the brand plans to ship its only model on the market, the ZEEKR 001, to Europe next year. By 2025, the brand hopes to yield a 100,000-vehicle overall export volume.
Notably, the brand announced today that the ZEEKR 001 would greet its first OTA update soon. The ZEEKR OS 1.1.1 features 25 new functions, with more than 200 user experience improvements.
