Li Auto releases photos of L9 with flagship-level sound and seat system

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On March 16th, China’s auto startup to watch, Li Auto, released a set of exterior photos of its second production model, the L9, with an L9 exclusive gold paint.

Compared to the Li ONE, Li Auto’s only model on the market, the L9 adopts a closed-off front bumper without a grille. Both models have a light stripe running across the front of the car, but the light on the L9 appears more fluent without the grille. The side profile of the L9 and the Li ONE resembles one another, except that the L9 has hidden door handles.

There is also a visible bump on top of the L9, where LiDAR is usually placed. In this case, local leading LiDAR developer, Hesai Technology is the supplier of Li Auto.

Interior-wise, Li Auto released more configuration details of the L9. Specifically, the L9 is equipped with a 7.3.4 Dolby panoramic sound system, with 7 sets of speakers, 3 bass units, and 4 upper-placement speakers, providing a 4D immersive experience.

Moreover, the seats on the L9 are also deemed “flagship-level”. According to Li Auto, all six seats on the L9 are heated with electrical control. The four seats in the first two rows offer seat ventilation and Spa-level massage. 

The L9 will make its debut at Auto China 2022 in April, priced from RMB450,000 to RMB500,000 ($71,264 to $79,182).
