JAC Group’s YTD export volume jumps 38% YoY
Beijing (Gasgoo)- In the first fourth months of 2022, Chinese automaker JAC Group saw growing momentum in both battery-electric vehicle sales and export volume, according to its report released on May 9th.

In April, JAC Group sold 27,387 vehicles, decreasing 35.85% over the month before and 48.36% year on year. From January to April, its cumulative sales volume amounted to 156,753 vehicles, representing a 21.42% drop from the same period last year.
Notably, 7,671 units of the vehicles sold in April were battery-electric passenger vehicles, almost halved month over month and declining 28.18% compared to a year ago. Despite the significant drop in April, in the past four months of 2022, JAC Group’s battery-electric passenger vehicle sales summed up to 47,722 vehicles, still 38.06% more than that of 2021.
At the same time, JAC Group shipped 6,115 vehicles overseas in the fourth month of this year, notching down 3.73% year over year. In the past four months of 2022, JAC Group exported a total of 29,536 vehicles worldwide, jumping 38.06% compared to the year-ago period.
