In the aspect of power battery and energy storage battery, the company said it has built facilities with a total annual production capacity of 7GWh, 3GWh of which was put into production last year and is working at full capacity, and the other 4GWh production lines are in the tryout stage.

Ganfeng Lithium revealed its second-generation solid-state battery will be mainly sold to the power battery market.

At the same time, Ganfeng Lithium also mentioned the planning for its lithium carbonate production capacity. Based on the forecast that the world would demand over 1.5 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) annually by 2025, the company has planned out a supply capability of no less than 300,000 tonnes of LCE by that year.

The lithium carbonate production capacity planned for 2025 will be deployed both domestically and abroad. In domestic regions, the company is mulling over deploying capacity in places like Inner Mongolia and Sichuan province, in addition to Xinyu, Ningdu, and Shangrao in Jiangxi province. Besides, Ganfeng Lithium also has production projects in Argentina and Mexico.
