The M7 is designed to outperform a one-million-yuan luxury vehicle in comfortable and intelligent experience. The new model can be expected for delivery at the end of July. In addition, AITO is introducing a battery-electric version of its existing range-extended M5 model in September.
Previously, the AITO M7 model has already been filed to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). According to documents released by MIIT, the M7 measures 5,020mm long, 1,945mm wide, and 1,775mm tall, similar to the Li ONE in size. It is equipped with a 40.06kWh power battery, offering a pure-electric range of 150km, and a 1.5T four-cylinder engine, same as the M5.
On the other hand, Yu Chengdong also expressed his latest opinion on autonomous driving. The CEO believes that autonomous driving technologies that rely heavily on high-precision maps and C-V2X are incompetent. True autonomous driving should be self-sufficient and drive the vehicle safely without the help high-precision maps and C-V2X technology.
