AITO M5’s cumulative deliveries surpass 10,000 units in three months
Beijing (Gasgoo)- On the first day of June, HUAWEI and SERES’ young new energy vehicle brand AITO, reported outstanding growing momentum regarding monthly delivery volume in May.
In May, AITO delivered 5,006 units of its only model on the market, the M5, representing a 54.27% month-over-month surge. The M5 started delivery in March 2022. In March and April, the brand delivered 3,045 and 3,245 vehicles, respectively.

In the past 87 days of delivery, AITO managed to deliver a total of 11,296 M5s, refreshing the speed record of delivering over 10,000 vehicles among all new local auto brands.
Notably, AITO’s growth in delivery was also built on top of a price rise effective on May 6th. The M5 saw an increase of RMB15,000 ($2,246) in the all-wheel-drive performance trim, and an RMB12,000 ($1,796) hike in the four-wheel-drive flagship trim.
At the recent 2022 Guangdong-HongKong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Auto Show, CEO of HUAWEI’s Intelligent Automotive Solution Business Unit, Yu Chengdong, disclosed that AITO will launch its second model, the M7 at the end of June, and start delivery in July this year.
