AVATR to showcase CHN platform, AVATR 11 at Chongqing auto show

Beijing (Gasgoo)- AVATR, the new energy vehicle brand backed by Changan Automobile, HUAWEI, and CATL is reportedly launching its new-generation SEV technology platform, CHN, at the Chongqing auto show this year.

Sources close to AVATR Technology disclosed to a local media outlet that the automaker would also officially showcase its first production model built on the CHN platform, the AVATR 11, and the limited edition AVATR 011 at the auto show. The brand will demonstrate its new platform, big computing power, and high-voltage charging features all at once.

AVATR has recently kicked off the presale of the AVATR 11 on May 20th. 

As a collaborative brand established jointly by the three big-name companies, AVATR was given great expectations and attention by its makers. As Gasgoo previously reported, Changan Automobile disclosed in a conference call that HUAWEI has HUAWEI has allocated over 1,000 intelligent driving talents to work with AVATR’s engineers in Chongqing for the development of the AVATR 11. Moreover, HUAWEI is planning to put AVATR’s vehicles into its offline retail stores as a means of distribution.

Notably, AVATR’s business scope was expanded recently. Aside from new energy vehicle aspects, the company is now licensed to conduct business in integrated quick-charge stations, operations of electric vehicle charging infrastructures, and sales of lifestyle derivatives.
