BAIC BluePark works to enter HUAWEI’s distribution channel
Beijing (Gasgoo)- BAIC BluePark, the parent company of BAIC BJEV, is working with HUAWEI to enter the ICT giant’s distribution channel, the automaker disclosed at its performance conference on June 20th.

During the conference, the vice general manager of BAIC BluePark, Fan Jingtao, said that the company has been working with HUAWEI to facilitate the foray into the latter’s distribution channel. However, no further information could be disclosed at the time due to their confidentiality agreement.
Currently, BAIC BluePark has one model on the market that is powered by HUAWEI Inside technologies, the ARCFOX αS HI, and the model has not kicked off delivery yet. Notably, as Gasgoo previously reported, BAIC Group is said to cooperating with HUAWEI to launch more collaborative models under the HUAWEI Smart Selection cooperation model. The desired cooperation model signifies HUAWEI’s deep involvement in the vehicles’ making and distribution, like the AITO M5 model.
On the other hand, the ARCFOX αT and αS saw a price hike of RMB5,400 ($817) on several existing trims on May 16th, in accordance with the price increase of raw materials. The company’s 2022 annual sales target of ARCFOX vehicles was set at 40,000 units.
