Zhou Song appointed new Valeo China President

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Effective from July 1, 2022, Zhou Song has been appointed as Valeo China President and will directly report to Christophe Périllat, Chief Executive Officer of Valeo, the French automotive supplier announced today.

Besides, Mr. Zhou will continue to serve as Vice President of Valeo Comfort & Driving Assistance Systems Business Group, Region China. In this position, he will report to Marc Vrecko, President of the Comfort and Driving Assistance Systems Business Group.

Zhou Song succeeds François Marion, who moves to be Senior Vice President of Communications at Valeo.

According to Valeo, Zhou Song joined Valeo in 2003 and was named as General Manager of Valeo Automotive Air Conditioning Hubei Co., Ltd. in 2010. Starting from 2014, he acted as Vice President of Valeo Comfort & Driving Assistance Systems Business Group, Region China.

François Marion joined Valeo in March 2012 as Group Vice-President for Strategy and External Relations. After being named as Valeo China President in 2018, he contributed to the establishment of several Valeo's software and hardware R&D centers in China, and helped the group speed up innovation in the world's largest auto market.
