HUAWEI-backed AITO sells 7,021 M5s in June

Beijing (Gasgoo)- AITO, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly developed by SERES and HUAWEI, saw its June sales record a new high.

In the sixth month of 2022, AITO reported a monthly sales volume of 7,021 units of its current only model on the market, the M5, indicating a 40.25% surge month over month. 

The brand has witnessed its sales volume climbing continuously since delivery started in March. The respective sales volume of the M5 amounted to 3,045 vehicles, 3,245 vehicles, and 5,006 vehicles in March, April, and May. 

Aside from June’s sales volume, AITO also disclosed its new monthly order volume for the M5. In the past month, there had been 10,685 new reservations of the model with a large sum of deposits.

Notably, as AITO previously announced, it will unveil its second production model, the M7, on July 4th. The model will make its debut at HUAWEI’s summer product launch event. The new model is installed with a 1.5T range extension system with a battery-electric range of 150km.

The M7 is designed to outperform a one-million-yuan luxury vehicle in comfortable and intelligent experience.
