HUAWEI-backed AITO unveils second model M7, priced at RMB319,800-RMB379,800
Beijing (Gasgoo)- On July 4th, AITO, the jointly developed brand of HUAWEI and SERES, introduced its second production model, the M7, at HUAWEI’s summer new product launch.

The M7 is a six-seater range-extended full-size SUV inheriting the brand’s luxury and intelligent position. The model is also deployed with HUAWEI’s latest signature HarmonyOS smart cockpit. The model is priced at RMB319,800-RMB379,800 ($47,800-$56,800).
It is equipped with a 10.25” curved LCD dashboard and a 15.6” 2K HDR center control display.

The M7 is the first model to commercialize zero-gravity seats. The seats is designed in accordance with human engineering, providing even support all over. Users can adjust the seats into the zero-gravity position by summoning the onboard voice assistant or via a button.
The model comes in two trim levels, rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive in six color options.
It is installed with the HUAWEI DriveONE proprietary six-in-one extended-range powertrain with a 422mm L113 layout, consisting of an electric motor, generator, GCU, MCU, and a decelerator along with the range extender. The reduced size greatly elevates the M7’s spatial conversion rate to 92.4%.
The rear-wheel-drive trim offers a battery-electric WLTC range of 195km and a combined range of 1,100km. Meanwhile, the four-wheel-drive trim allows a battery-electric WLTC range of 165km and a combined range of 1,000km.
AITO said that it had implemented test drive and shopping services in over 600 HUAWEI stores. Meanwhile, AITO also holds 122 user centers in over 109 cities in China. The automaker has deployed more than 180,000 public charging piles in over 300 cities.
The M7 will be successively displayed in offline HUAWEI stores starting July 4th. Test drive of the model can be expected from July 23rd.
