Human Horizons unveils mass-produced HiPhi Z and kicks off blind order

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On July 5th, Human Horizons, China’s luxury new energy vehicle startup introduced the HiPhi Z, its second production model, and kicked off blind order.

The HiPhi Z is a battery-electric sedan that adopts a 2+2 seating arrangement. The model is likely to be priced at RMB600,000 to RMB800,000 ($89,390 to $119,180). 

Just like Human Horizons' first model, the HiPhi Z inherits the company’s avant-garde and technological design language, as well as the second-generation programmable and customizable Matrix Lighting System with PML and ISD modules.

Just like the HiPhi X, the HiPhi Z also has automatic doors without handles. The doors on the new sedan can open at a nearly 90° angle. In order to optimize the experience, the automaker enabled a 10cm-level ultra-wide-band wireless communication technology on the HiPhi Z, which can help the model grasp a more accurate timing and angle over each door-opening.

The model is installed with a movable multi-spindle large screen hovering in the center console. The screen carries out most of the controls onboard and it can dynamically execute tasks based on voice and driving modes. Powering the movements is an interactive system that the automaker called HiPhi Bot. 

In addition, consistent with its technological theme, the HiPhi Z carries 32 sensors onboard, including LiDAR. The vehicle is capable of numerous ADAS functions thanks to the intelligent driving chips from NVIDIA. 

The model is powered by a 120kWh battery pack in CTP arrangement, offering a CLTC range of 705km.
