SERES Group sells 13,291 new energy vehicles in July
Beijing (Gasgoo)- In July, SERES Group, formerly known as Chongqing Sokon Industry Group which owns the auto brand SERES, saw its monthly sales grow from a year ago, especially the sales of new energy vehicles.

In the past month, SERES Group sold 22,292 vehicles, climbing up 25.17% year over year. From January to July, the cumulative sales volume of the group amounted to 147,961 vehicles, notching down 1.75% from a year ago.
With 13,291 vehicles sold, the group’s new energy vehicle (NEV) sector scored a 316.78% year-over-year hike and a 7% month-on-month increase in July sales. In the first seven months of the year, the group sold a total of 58,913 NEVs, representing a soar of 224.21% compared to the previous year.
In addition, 7,807 NEVs sold in the past month were SERES-branded, shooting up 8,873.56% year over year and 149 units more than the previous month. During the past seven months, SERES brand sold 29,388 vehicles cumulatively.
Notably, SERES and Huawei’s jointly owned brand, AITO, last month delivered 7,228 units of its first production model, the M5, edging up 3% month over month. By the end of July 2022, the cumulative delivery volume of the M5 has reached 26,348 vehicles.
