HiPhi Z to hit market on August 26th

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese high-end new energy vehicle maker Human Horizons will see its second production model, the HiPhi Z, officially hit the market on August 26th at the Chengdu Motor Show 2022.

The sales price and configuration details of the new model will be released at the event.

Positioned as an avant-garde luxury battery-electric sedan that adopts a 2+2 seating arrangement, the HiPhi Z has already kicked off blind order. The model features a predicted presale price range of RMB600,000-RMB800,000 ($89,390 to $119,180). 

According to a catalogue released by China's MIIT (the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology), the luxury electric sedan comes in three trim levels with two battery capacity options, 120kWh and 94.277kWh. The three trims offer a respective range of 705km, 655km, and 560km.

In addition, the all-wheel-drive model adopts a permanent magnet synchronous motor, churning out a maximum power of 75kW/247kW, with a peak torque of 145N·m. 

According to data released by the automaker, there were 526 HiPhi X vehicles registered in July in China, making the model crowned as China’s best-selling luxury electric model priced above RMB500,000 ($74,200) in the past month.
