Among GWM's brands, Haval sold 53,960 vehicles last month, indicating a 1.1% slight dip year-over-year. The third-generation Haval H6 DHT-PHEV hit the market on Sept. 28, a substantial move following the launch of Haval's new energy vehicle (NEV) strategy in August.
With 7,605 vehicles sold in Sept., ORA faced a 40.45% plunge year-over-year. Nevertheless, the year-to-date sales of the NEV-dedicated brand remained flat over the prior-year period.
TANK boasted a year-on-year growth of over 50% in both Sept. and Jan.-Sept. sales.
Both WEY and GWM Pickup failed to attain an upward movement in Sept. and year-to-date sales.
GWM saw its monthly sales in overseas markets hit a new high of 18,837 units in Sept., which resulted in a Jan.-Sept. sales volume of 111,744 units (+14.09% YoY) for the markets outside China.
