Geely, Autoliv form strategic partnership for automotive safety technologies

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Autoliv China, a subsidiary of Autoliv, announced on October 24 its strategic cooperation with Geely Automotive Research Institute, in a bid to promote future automotive safety technology advancement.

The cooperation between Geely Auto and Autoliv dates back to 2002, as the duo has been working together in the field of auto safety system for two decades. The two companies share the same motivation to explore and develop emerging technologies of the future auto safety systems, and lead the technological trend of the whole industry. 

By upgrading their relationship to strategic partners of forward-looking technologies, both Geely Auto and Autoliv have taken a step further in the field of automotive safety.

Over the next few years, the two parties will conduct advanced research for a variety of projects, including safety solutions for high-level autonomous driving scenarios and low-carbon materials applications.
