Great Wall Motor’s TANK 300 to hit Iraqi market soon

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Major Chinese automaker Great Wall Motor showcased its TANK 300 signature off-roader at the 46th Baghdad International Fair in Iraq which was held in early November.

The debut of the TANK 300 signified the TANK brand’s foray into the Iraqi market, as the model will hit the local market in the near future. Aside from the TANK 300, Great Wall Motor also put on display several models under the HAVAL, TANK, and GWM Pickup brands. 

Great Wall Motor kicked off its overseas operation back in 1997 with Iraq as its first port of call. Over the past two years, Great Wall Motor successively launched the HAVAL JOLION, the third-generation HAVAL H6, the POER, the HAVAL Big Dog, the HAVAL H6 GT, and other SUV and pickup models in Iraq. With the automaker’s product lineup continuing to expand, it has accumulated a good reputation and market presence in the country. 

As a result of its rapid global expansion, Great Wall Motor saw its monthly overseas sales hit a new high of 21,052 units in October, representing a 49.58% surge year-on-year. In the first ten months of 2022, the Chinese automaker sold a total of 132,796 vehicles abroad.
