Dongfeng Motor Group sees Nov. NEV sales jump 36.63% YoY
Beijing (Gasgoo)- In November, Dongfeng Motor Group Company Limited (Dongfeng Motor Group) sold 153,898 vehicles, representing a 42.22% decline from a year ago.

In the first eleven months of this year, the group’s cumulative sales volume reached 2,252,858 vehicles, slipping 10.5% year over year.
Among the vehicles sold in the past month, 31,717 units were new energy vehicles, surging 36.63% from a year earlier. In the Jan.-Nov. period, the group’s cumulative new energy vehicle sales totaled 307,668 units, soaring 129.2% compared to a year ago.
Dongfeng Motor Group sold 132,014 passenger vehicles in the past month, down 44.77% from the previous year. In the Jan.-Nov. period, the group sold 1,971,536 passenger vehicles in total, indicating a 2.6% slight dip year-on-year.
Specifically, the group’s premium new energy vehicle (NEV) brand, VOYAH, delivered 1,508 vehicles in the past month, representing a 52.32% hike over the prior-year period. In the first eleven months of 2022, VOYAH’s cumulative sales volume summed up to 17,680 vehicles, skyrocketing 410.84% from a year ago.
As to the group’s joint ventures, Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën sold 9,708 vehicles in the past month, indicating a 33.49% drop from a year ago. In the Jan.-Nov. period of this year, the company’s cumulative sales volume amounted to 114,721 vehicles in 2022, zooming up 32.54% year over year.
With 36,658 vehicles sold in November, Dongfeng Honda saw its monthly sales halved from a year ago. In the first eleven months of 2022, the joint venture sold 600,314 vehicles in total, which slipped down 12.62%% from the same period last year.
