In the last month of 2022, AITO’s monthly delivery reached 10,143 vehicles, jumping 22.8% from the previous month, according to the automaker's WeChat post. Since the automaker kicked off delivery of its first vehicle in March 2022, its cumulative delivery volume has exceeded 75,000 vehicles by the end of December.
So far, the young auto brand has three models on the market, namely the range-extended M5, the battery-electric M5, and the M7, all of which are SUVs.
On December 7, AITO issued an OTA update to its M5 vehicles, focusing on reinforcing users’ experiences in power, assisted driving, electrification, intelligent connection, range extension system, and smart cockpit.
The upgrade improves the assisted parking function on the M5 by controlling the front-view camera angle through the large onboard screen, eliminating blind spots, and easily mastering the vehicle’s body dynamics. Meanwhile, through the update of battery charging scheme, the M5 can identify and be compatible with more charging piles on the market, providing enhanced charging ability.
