JAC Group scores 55.88% YoY leap in 2022 annual export volume

Beijing (Gasgoo)- In December 2022, Chinese automaker JAC Group saw its monthly auto sales slightly increased 2.02% from a year ago to 42,874 units, according to its announcement issued on January 10.

In the full year of 2022, the group saw its cumulative sales volume reach 500,401 vehicles, representing a 4.54% drop year on year. With 302,039 vehicles sold, JAC Group’s passenger vehicle sector scored a 19.64% jump over the previous year. At the same time, the group sold a total of 198,362 commercial vehicles in the past year. 

Among the passenger vehicles sold in 2022, 208,507 units were SUVs, indicating a 7.61% year-on-year increase. Meanwhile, the group’s annual sedan sales soared 190.45% year on year to 77,207 units 

Notably, JAC Group sold a total of 193,095 new energy passenger vehicles last year, representing a 43.97% leap year-over-year. 

Aside from that, the automaker also boasted a 55.88% year-on-year spike in annual export volume, which came in at 114,629 vehicles. Among which, nearly 8,000 units were shipped to Europe, indicating a roughly 200% soar compared to the year-ago period.
